Living By Numbers

Did anyone else have paint by numbers spring to mind when they read the title of this post?! I hate to disappoint but sadly no colouring or painting antics today but instead a little bit of a natter all about living by numbers. The heck you on about girl? Well, I've had another bit of a brain storm (dangerous I know) but I've found myself counting down the digits, running head first for the milestones & longingly dwelling on the timelines, which has all resulted in the realization that we live by numbers.
I find myself a little too often on the countdown, whether that be for a special occasion, birthday or social event, I always seem to trigger a timer just constantly counting down. It's almost like you just tick off each day without a second thought & focus solely on that one fabulous day that is on the brink & almost in arms reach. It's not just for special occasions though, I also find these comforting countdowns spark up on a daily basis..

The Fear Of Opinion

Happy heatwave y'all! What an absolute scorcher of a week & a bit we've been blessed with over in the UK, although I am longing for my beloved Autumn to fly to the rescue. Still- can't complain too much as this is such a rarity!

It could be something as simple as posting a photo online that you're not 100% confident with the lighting/angle/contrast but you're a little hesitant to post it anyway in case of a…

Stop Saving It For 'Another Day'

Remember those terrifying, adventurous goals you set yourself one upon a time in life & are yet to even attempt to bring them to a reality? Yup, me too. It's almost as though there's an imaginary wall piled up right in front of you & it's working a) as a comfort shield & b) as an excuse to not push you any further.

For me, there's always another reason or excuse as to why that goal has been pushed to the side line, gathering dust & pretty much forgotten about.
But why do we throw all those spontaneous & down right crazy ideas into the ever growing 'another day' pile, which to be honest is more likely 'another century'. Why do we stay committed to our regular, comfortable lifestyles & dare not stray too far into the unknown? I see so many gorgeous adventures of those on Instagram who have been bitten by the travelling bug & are now experiencing some of the most incredible & insane secrets that the world has to offer in the f…
