The Last Of The Summer Glow

I'm absolutely mourning the loss of my golden Summer glow that I rediscovered with these outfit photo's I took a few weeks back. Those two rare holidays really did treat me to the best tan and I'm absolutely gutted there's not another one waiting around the corner for me. Back to the work grind, eh?! I found this look so, so adorable when I first put the whole outfit together before heading out for a breakfast date. A very chic 60's inspired outfit indeed and perfect in the warmer weather. I wore my Primark leopard print skirt with a turtle neck top tucked in from Newlook. The turtle neck isn't necessarily associated with Summer as it's very much an Autumn/Winter essential but as this top had no sleeves I thought it would be ideal to mix into my Summer wardrobe. I threw over my beautiful Stradivarius jacket, which is a denim piece that has the most perfect unfinished hem on peplum detailing. I've been wearing this jacket non stop.. and I mean non stop. It&#…

Pink Overhaul

How much pink is too much pink? The limit does not exist. I had a bit of a pink overhaul with this outfit of the day post, but I couldn't resist throwing together two different shades of pink and watching a beautiful pink fantasy come to life! My flared trousers are from Tosphop and were a sale bargain for £15.00 I believe? When they first arrived at my door I was a little concerned that the material would be a little too see-through and I'd have to be really selective over what underwear I wore. But turns out once you've got these little treats on they're a lot thicker that they first looked and so far no underwear has been visible.. yasss! My top is a long sleeve boho style piece from H&M when they launched a Coachella range back last year and I thought this was a little something different for my wardrobe. I also love the 70's appeal and paired with a little flare was the ultimate combination. My furry beast of a jacket is another sale piece but this time from …

Polka Dots & Cold Shoulders

Do you have those photo's that are taken hours before something annoying/bad happens? Well, these are a set of photo's that bring back a pretty bad memory for me. So, shortly after I took these outfit photo's I managed to then drive my car into a crater (and I mean crater). I was doing a wonderfully tight parallel park and sadly didn't notice the massive, gaping pothole in the side of the road, therefore my little black car fell down and ended up in such a weird angle that I couldn't even open the driver door to get out. T'was not a great day for me or my car.. Fortunately my parent's, my boyfriends parent's and a God sent passerby managed to dig the vehicle back out.. my little black car lives to tell another tale! THANK GOD.

*   *   * My trousers are my dotty polka dot masterpieces from Newlook, which annoyingly are now in the sale.. classic. They're a jogger style trouser with an elasticated waste, so uber comfy and yet still flattering and slimming on…

Little Grunge Details

Apparently whilst taking these photo's for my outfit post I didn't even consider looking at the camera?.. Who do I think I am?! Nice and simple styling from me- nothing too new there! I've gone for a bold lemon coloured shirt from Primark with a little bit of a grunge theme running through the top of the sleeves. Teeny, tiny silver hoops have been woven into the material to add a little twist on the detailing. The silhouette of the shirt is another bold feature from the deep V neckline right down to the flared finish of the sleeves and of course the boxy cut. My trousers are a Topshop classic, I can't even count on my fingers how many times I've featured these bad boys on my blog! I can't get enough of their comfort, cut and their overall statement'ness to my wardrobe. Plus stripes are always on trend and forever flattering for all figures! Although these were bought last year I know that Topshop always restock a similar pair, maybe just differing in length or st…
