Clashing The Patterns
I've been trying to update my style recently by pushing the 'comfort zone' on some of my style choices and taking the plunge for a little more of a daring approach.
I've decided to clash my patterns, as it's something I feel comfortable trying and I believe some of the finished looks are actually really flattering and on bang on trend.
As you can see from the photo's uploaded above, I've gone for a plaid and leopard print clash to test the waters, which I was overly pleased with.
My trousers are from Boohoo and are a formal, tailored fit that make the butt look incredible (if I do say so myself!) plus, I've wanted to increase my variety of trousers within my wardrobe to create different looks and play around with different fits and silhouettes.
My boots are my New Look gems that I'm still obsessed with, months down the line! I'm desperately trying to break them in so that they become my go-to boot rather than getting wear every now and then.
On top, I have a New Look roll neck knitted piece, which I pretty much slobbed around in throughout December. I'd wear it at home and then take it to work with me, admittedly it gained a couple of coffee stains and I had to part with it as it's time in the laundry basket is now upon the poor garment.
My denim jacket is an old Topshop item, although they pretty much stock these style of jackets throughout the year or something very similar.
