I tried something different today, not my usual taste, but I thought I'd try a short faux leather skirt.. way out of my comfort zone! Don't get me wrong, but I always associated these types of skirts with the classic 90's era where we look back and think 'what the heck were we thinking?' and I didn't want to fall into that trap again. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that I am in fact a rather big fan of faux leather skirts..
My skirt was a purchase from Primark a few months ago that I hadn't got round to styling yet. It was a huge bargain of just £10, which for a skirt like this is a rather good deal, seeing as lot of high street stores are selling look-a-likes for up to £40?!! I decided to go for my classic laid back approach, hence the oversized knitted jumper.
Topshop are selling these jumpers in an array of colour's at the moment, some beautiful pastel ones are attracting my beady eyes!
I then wore 40 denier tights and my newish black boots from NewLook that I've not managed to remove from my feet since they arrived.
I then just added a few selected pieces of silver jewellery and my black leather wrap Pandora bracelet, which I've removed the charms from as I prefer it plain. Anyone else agree?
