Sorry ;Day 34
Sorry.... I'm just going to start with an apology as to why I have been away from my blog for a couple of days. To keep it short a family member passed away earlier this week and it's all been a bit up and down emotionally and physically. But I'm back now owing you two days of OOTD's!
I'm a little mixed up with my days etc but I'll just label this as my first outfit.
I'm sure you recognize these eye catching print harem trousers from previous posts. This time I paired them up with an over-sized tee, which has the usual trouble of being a little too sheer. Although I embraced the fact it was see through and wore a black bra just because sometimes its nice to wear something bold underneath.
I also recently purchased a gold statement necklace in a triangle shape from Topshop seeing as it was a sale item. Really taking advantage of this seasons sale!! I believe this one was half price?!
Finally I wore my black boots with grey socks poking out at the top of the boot. I thought by rolling up trousers it would be nice to have a little leg showing?? And of course red lippy. Let's not be carried away with a black and white theme! Gott'a throw a splash of colour in!

My next outfit was based around this brand new cropped cami I purchased from.. yes, you guessed it, TOPSHOP. I'm in love with cami tops right now as you can wear them whenever with whatever. There so easy to pair with jeans, shorts, harem trousers or tapered trousers.. pretty much anything.
Rather than pairing with jeans I thought I'd wear my tapered trousers just to add a smart spark to my look. Tapered trousers also look super summery with strappy tops or bandeau's so I thought a summery cami would go perfect with them!!
I wore my black studded loafers also from Topshop as I couldn't be dealing with heels today.. even if they're a boot style.
A little on the chilly side, I brought out my denim jacket, which also gave the outfit out a laid back attitude. Of course a there was a hint of sun I HAD to wear my sunnies! Round framed glasses give a hint of the 70's and they compliment most face shapes, which is a bonus for everyone. Bringing pieces of the past back and throwing them together with modern fashion adds quirkiness and a unique feel to any outfit. Plus, if you have quite a simple outfit just by sliding on a pair of abstract shaped sunglasses really will add so much more to the look.
They also help hide the signs from a crazy night out before or a bad make-up day!!
