Flatforms ;Day 37

Yesterday I was a little naughty and decided to purchase my first ever pair of flatforms. Yes flatforms! If you are unaware of these marvelous invention, let me just fill you in with the 411.

A flatform is a cross between a platform and a flat heeled shoe. When you are in need of a little extra height from your shoes but are unable to bare the heeled shoe during the course of a days work, a flatform can become your new best friend.

1.Dune (House of Fraser)        2. Topshop          3. ASOS

These are just a couple of designs I found and loved whilst searching well known fashion brand websites. I find that flatforms are a really bold shoe but often shun down because they can be so 90's looking and maybe a thing of the past? But I beg to differ. Why not bring back the quirks which we once adored?!! I mean if the Spice Girls could pull these things off then why not you? ..

.. Baby spice ruled these bad boys.

I did attempt to take a cheeky snap shot in my new shoes but my feet were looking too vulgar to be able to post the photo. I mean, there were veins and all sorts popping out and was certainly enough to make anyone sick.. violently.

Maybe another day?!

Anyhow, this is how I styled my white sandal designed flatforms. I bought these shorts a while back from Topshop and rediscovered them this morning whilst ran sacking my closet. Quite an Aladdin's cave my wardrobes turning out to be, eh?!

I then couldn't decide which top to pair these shorts with as there's a LOT going on pattern wise already. My grey cropped tee did the trick! Adding my casual trait back into my outfit[:

I finally added a dash of red lippy as you know I'm a rather big fan of the stuff. It also just brought out the red tints in the shorts!

Although at first I was a little hesitant that my shorts were a little too short for comfort but then I decided, what the heck, as long as my butt cheeks aren't making an appearance it's not that bad. Plus with this beeeeeautiful weather we're having why not whip those pins out and let them embrace the vitamin D. I mean, they're covered up 8 months a year.. maybe even more. Bless 'em!!

Cha'll for now. Peace&Love xoxox
