Festival Attire ;Day 28
Festival Attire
Today was another slobbish day of lazying around on the sofa and working my way through a packet of mini rolls and season 3 of The Real Housewives of New York. I also designed a few outfit ideas for any of you lucky lot heading for Glastonbury Festival this week!
Outfit One;
Kimono - Nordstrom Shorts- Topshop Wellies- The Hut Bralet- NewLook Head Band- Urban Outfitters
My first festival inspired outfit was based around this incredibly beautiful kimono, which I believe is now 40% off its original price. It's just amazing to look at with all its patterns and glory!! I then chose these ridiculously bright wellies to bring the slight hint of pink out in the kimono. And of course.. the classic flower headband just screams festival baby!
Outfit Two;
Playsuit- River Island Shirt- NewLook Wellies- Wellie Web Hat- H&M Necklace- Forever 21
My second attire is based around this Aztec pattern playsuit, a very boho inspired piece. Just in case there's any of the windy chills that can sometimes haunt days out, I've added a casual denim shirt, which will be so light weight you can just tie it around your waist when not needed. The gold necklace adds just a hint of glamor but not too much that we turn the camping into glamping!
Outfit Three;
Skirt- Topshop Top- Topshop Wellies- Easy Wellies Hat- Topshop Sunglasses- Urban Outfitters
My third outfit includes this midi-skirt from Topshop. I think it's always nice to add a girly touch to your outfit, even when trekking around in the mud. Therefore, don't shy away from getting those skirts out!! I've paired this one up with a coral crop top, which is only £6 from the Jersey section in Topshop. It just brings more colours to the look rather than sticking with blues. I'm so in love with these John Lennon inspired sunnies too! They just add a slight 'hippy' side to the outfit, which also draws back a retro theme.
LIVE IT, LOVE IT, EMBRACE IT!
These are just a few idea's I came up with when thinking about festivals. I think it's always good to be daring with bright colours and bold patterns when out and about, especially this kind of environment. It's soo so good to be individual at festivals because it's all about having fun, letting your hair down and embracing the atmosphere, burger vans (mmm) and of course the amazing live music from all the bands.Plus, wellies will become your new best friend. Trust me.
Enjoy you lucky sweet thaaang's.
Cha'll for now. Peace&Love xoxox
